Pre-assignment assessment

An evaluation carried out before an international assignment is approved. Assessments commonly consider Immigration eligibility, tax and social security position, cost, family circumstances and destination conditions. Carrying this out before an offer is made avoids commitments that cannot be delivered within the required timescale, and it is one of the more effective controls against assignment failure.
