Expatriate

An expatriate, often shortened to expat, is an employee who lives and works in a country other than their home country for a defined period. The term remains widely used within Global Mobility, although many organisations now prefer internationally mobile employee or relocating employee.
At Santa Fe, relocating employee is the preferred client-facing term for expatriate.
