An official document used to support or evidence an individual’s Immigration status. Documents commonly include passports, visas, residence permits, work permits, identity cards and supporting civil documents such as birth and marriage certificates. Civil documents frequently require an apostille or consular legalisation before an authority will accept them, which adds weeks to the timeline.
